“Expressions 2026: America 250” is on view at Piedmont Arts through Aug. 14. Guests are encouraged to visit the galleries to vote for the People’s Choice Award before the exhibit closes.
“The People’s Choice Award celebrates the work with the most votes from the public,” said Director of Exhibitions and Marketing Bernadette Moore. “Guests may vote for their favorite work or works in the exhibit, and are not limited to one vote. It’s a great way to celebrate a deserving artist.”
Guests may cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award until 5 p.m. on Aug. 14. The winner will be announced the following day.
The open-entry exhibition is presented annually by Lynwood Artists and Piedmont Arts. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, artists were encouraged to submit work focusing on the theme “America 250.”
This exhibit is sponsored by VisitMartinsville, Brightspeed, Helen S. and Charles G. Patterson Jr. Charitable Foundation Trust, Lynwood Artists, and What’s Your Sign.
