
Judy Edmonds will assume the role of assistant principal of Bassett High School.
Edmonds brings years of experience in public education to her new role as Assistant Principal at Bassett High School. During her 29-year career with Henry County Public Schools, she has served as both a classroom teacher and a school administrator, including 13 years as an elementary principal, during which she led school improvement efforts, supported instructional excellence, and cultivated positive learning environments. Most recently, she has taught Family and Consumer Sciences at Bassett High School, leading the Teachers for Tomorrow program and helping prepare the next generation of educators. Her extensive leadership experience, commitment to student success, and dedication to building strong relationships make her a valuable addition to the Bassett High School administrative team.

I’m excited to work collaboratively with the administrative team to support students, staff and parents while continuing to build on the strong traditions and successes of our school,” Edmonds said. “I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to serving the BHS community in this new role.”
