Gov. Abigail Spanberger has announced the ninth cohort of the Virginia Management Fellows Program, a leadership development initiative designed to prepare the next generation of state government leaders.
Established in 2017, the two-year program places fellows in three eight-month rotations at state agencies across Virginia. Participants also receive mentorship, technical training and professional development in areas including data analytics, project management and finance.
“The Virginia Management Fellows Program has a proven record of strengthening the pathway for the next generation of leaders to enter state government,” Spanberger said. “These young leaders are eager to give back and contribute to the Commonwealth’s most pressing challenges.”
The Virginia Management Fellows Program is recognized nationally as a management and leadership succession program for state government.
