Two Danville leaders have been appointed to the Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission by Gov. Abigail Spanberger.
The appointments are Dr. Angela Hairston, superintendent of Danville Public Schools, and Dr. Alexis Ehrhardt, vice president for government relations at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Spanberger announced the appointments Aug. 28 as part of several appointments to boards across Virginia.
“I am proud to appoint the following Virginians to boards across our Commonwealth — Virginians who will use their expertise to help all our neighbors,” Spanberger said.
