Chaplain Clifton also demonstrated how his fire safety gear works and told students about the importance of not being scared if they come across a fire or fighter in gear. He also explained how fire crews help them if they are ever in need. Students also toured a fire truck.

World Champion and Martial Arts Hall of Famer Scott Rutter has Martial arts locations in Bassett, Floyd and Stuart, with programs ages 3 to 5 Lil Dragons teaching life skills along with Martial arts skills as well as programs such as Taekwondo, Shotokan Karate and Krav Maga for ages 6 to adult, with a focus on building confidence, discipline, social skills in a family friendly environment.
