Video after video of him, many of them using one of those filters to make his complexion smooth and clear out those wrinkles. Wow. He is lip-syncing love songs to some woman you’ve never seen before.

There are valentine posts with the new woman. There are snow pictures with the new woman. There’s that post of him dancing and lip-syncing a song about how he takes care of his woman as he chips the ice off her car.
There are too many posts saying he’s finally found love, and all that.
How did you miss all this?
There’s a new year’s post with her that has a gazillion likes and comments. That must have been the first public notice of his new woman.
Oh, yep, sure enough, it was. Go on back to Christmas and he’s in front of Christmas lights lip-syncing to songs about a woman who done him wrong and will soon get her karma.
The week before that, there he is lip-syncing to songs begging a woman to come back, that he can’t live without her.
Aha! There it is: Thanksgiving, him and MeeMaw, posting that they are thankful for each other.
Keep going back – yep – that’s the Paw-Paw you remember, with regular pictures of him and MeeMaw at Smith Mountain Lake, at the Mexican restaurant one of the wearing a sombrero, at church.
Now it’s time to see who the new woman is. Her timeline is similar. She’s just slightly younger than MeeMaw and wears more eyeliner, and she shows a lot of cleavage. She does a lot of lip-syncing to love songs, her face blurry with the anti-wrinkle filter.
Before that new year’s announcement-type post, there she is posting all these quotes and memes about independent women not needing men.
Now MeeMaw’s turn.
Whoa!! There she is with a man younger than Paw-Paw. Their “In A Relationship” post was about a month after Paw-Paw’s. She’s behind him time-wise, but making up for it with more of a variety of posts. Instead of lip-syncing, she’s riding on the back of the new man’s motorcycle, toasting champagne with him, stretching with him on a mountaintop.
Well, we could have made it through life without the embarrassment of seeing Paw-Paw lip-syncing to all the young people’s popular songs.
We sure didn’t see that one coming, and for some reason, we just can’t help checking back every now and then to see the latest.
