Authorities in Henry County are seeking information about the whereabouts of a man wanted in connection with a bomb threat at a local Dollar General store.

Robert Stockton Jr., 37, is wanted on warrants of threats to bomb or burn.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on Monday, June 16, around 6:10 p.m., to a reported bomb threat at the Dollar General store, located at 2662 Greensboro Road.
Upon arrival, deputies immediately assisted in evacuating the store to ensure the safety of all patrons and employees.
The Virginia State Police also responded to the scene and deployed an explosive detection canine to search the interior and exterior of the business. After a thorough search, no explosive devices or suspicious items were located. The store was deemed safe and resumed normal operations shortly thereafter.
Warrants were obtained for Stockton, according to a release.
