Pictured are several of the 206 students to participate in the May 13 graduation ceremony at Patrick & Henry Community College. All total, the college awarded 586 academic credentials for this academic year. Graduates represent the local community, as well as several surrounding states, and four countries across the world.

John Buck (retired P&HCC professor) was named professor emeritus as part of the ceremony. Unfortunately, his health did not allow him to attend, so his son, Johnny, donned one of his father’s suits, and accepted in his stead.

This ceremony also marked the first graduation following Dr. Greg Hodges’ official inauguration as president, but he has served in the role for other graduations. (Contributed photos)

Dr. Greg Hodges, president of Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) has served in various roles during graduations. This year marked his first since his official inauguration as president.
