
A man wanted on outstanding warrants from five Virginia counties was arrested on Friday, July 3, after authorities said he fled from a traffic stop in Patrick County.
Robert Allen Trent Jr., 36, of Cumberland, was wanted on outstanding warrants from Carroll, Pulaski, Appomattox, Buckingham and Wythe counties. The warrants include felony probation violation and failure to appear, with underlying charges that include abduction, malicious wounding, assault on a law enforcement officer, DUI, shoplifting and distribution of marijuana.
