The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) will hold a holiday tree raffle to award one randomly selected drawing winner with a fully decorated designer tree for the holidays. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit the United Way.
A “Christmas Lodge” themed tree with a retail value of $1,400 will be available to win in one of two sizes, 9 or 7.5 feet. The tree was contributed and fully decorated by sponsor Commonwealth Home Health Care. Décor includes wild birds, snowy pine and hand-picked ornaments with a color palette conducive to most any home.
Through Dec. 16, raffle tickets are available for $10 each online at https://bit.ly/tree-raffle. They also may be purchased at Commonwealth Home Health Care (479 Piney Forest Road, Danville) and at the United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County (308 Craghead St. #104, Danville).
The ticket drawing will be held Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. in IALR’s Atrium, and the winner need not be present to win. Representatives from Commonwealth Home Health Care and United Way of Danville – Pittsylvania County will participate in the drawing selection. The winner may pick up the tree by 5 p.m. Dec. 18.
