Carlisle receives coloring books from Garden Clubs

Representatives from the Martinsville Garden Club and Garden Study Club visited Carlisle School to make a special presentation. This past year the clubs partnered together to publish an informative coloring book titled “Paws, Plants and Pollinators.” The coloring book features artwork by students throughout the community, including Carlisle alumnus Luke Moschler ’20, and highlights plants and animals found at the Smith River Sports Complex’s Paw Path Trail.

Carlisle School offers in-person learning five days a week, and due to COVID safety protocols, visitors are not allowed inside campus buildings. To accommodate this special presentation, guest Becky Farrar spoke to fourth-grade students outdoors while the remaining lower school students watched a live stream of her presentation in their classrooms.

A full recording of the presentation is available on Carlisle’s website at carlisleschool.org/paws-plants-and-pollinators.
