City police seek help in alleged burglary

The Martinsville Police Department is asking residents for help in identifying a person involved in an alleged Sunday burglary.

Officers responded to a business alarm at El Norteno restaurant at approximately 2:55 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.

When officers arrived at the business that is located at 730 E. Church St., Martinsville, they discovered that the restaurant had been burglarized. Investigators were called in to process the scene for evidence.

The police department obtained images that may be associated with the incident, and ask for help to identify the person in the photos.

The person appears to be wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

The Martinsville Police Department asks that anyone with information about this crime to call Sgt. Durham at 276-403-5330 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 276-63-CRIME (276-632- 7463). Information provided to CRIMESTOPPERS is confidential and you could receive a reward up to $2,500.
