A Henry County Sheriff’s Office Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a green Ford Ranger pickup truck in the 1500 block of Stones Dairy Road, in the Bassett area of Henry County on June 10, around 4 p.m.
Authorities allege the driver of the vehicle failed to stop, continuing down Stones Dairy Road at a low speed before turning onto Jarrett Drive, the vehicle continued down Jarrett Drive. During the pursuit, the passenger door opened multiple times, suggesting that one of the occupants may have been attempting to flee.

The vehicle eventually came to a stop behind 1053 Jarrett Drive. The driver, identified as Brandee Feazelle, exited the vehicle and allegedly tried to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by the deputy.
The front seat passenger, identified as James Shaffer, allegedly fled the scene on foot into a wooded area behind a nearby trailer. A third person, who also allegedly fled, was apprehended by another deputy on scene, found to have no outstanding warrants and subsequently released.
Feazelle and Shaffer were both found to have outstanding warrants for their arrest. A K-9 Deputy responded to the scene and conducted a track in an effort to locate Shaffer, but the search was unsuccessful.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed items that appear to be narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia, according to a release. Those items were collected and will be sent to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science Western Lab in Roanoke for testing.
Feazelle, 25, 3669 Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, was arrested on outstanding warrants of possession of Schedule I or II Controlled Substances and Probation Violation.
She also was charged with Fail to Stop for Law Enforcement, Loud Exhaust, and Improper Tread Depth.
She is currently being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Authorities continue to seek Shaffer on two counts of charges of Possession of a Scheduled I/II Drug.
