Ridgeway resident graduates from James Madison University
Emma Gervais of Ridgeway graduated with a degree(s) in General Studies – BS from James Madison University during commencement exercises in December 2025.
Gervais was among nearly 1,000 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Manning Named to Commonwealth University Fall 2025 Dean’s List
Scott Manning, of Collinsville, was named to the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Fall 2025 Dean’s List.
The Dean’s List, prepared at the end of each semester, recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction. To qualify for the Dean’s List, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50, on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.
Fall 2025 dean’s list recognizes academic excellence at Radford University
Radford University has released its dean’s list for fall 2025. Appearing on the dean’s list is the most prestigious academic recognition students can receive for their performance during a semester.
Students will be placed on the dean’s list if they meet four specific criteria. They must have 12 semester hours of coursework graded A-F; earn GPA’s of at least 3.4 for courses not graded on a pass-fail basis; obtain no grade lower than “C”; and receive no incomplete grades.
