
Henry County Public Schools has named Eric Seiy principal of Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School, effective July 2026.
Seiy has spent 28 years with the school division, serving the Magna Vista, Laurel Park and Fieldale-Collinsville communities. He currently serves as assistant principal at Bassett High School, where division officials said he is known for student-centered leadership and fostering a positive school culture.
According to the division, Seiy believes strong relationships with students, staff and families are the foundation of a successful school and is committed to creating an environment that promotes high expectations, academic achievement and personal growth for all students.
“Mr. Seiy brings a deep commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students,” Superintendent Dr. Amy Blake-Lewis said. “I am confident that he will continue to create an environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.”
Seiy said he is looking forward to returning to the school.
“I am incredibly honored and excited to have the opportunity to serve as the next principal of Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School. Returning to FCMS feels like coming home, and I am truly grateful for the chance to once again be part of a school and community that holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to partnering with our outstanding teachers and staff, engaging with our families, and building strong relationships throughout the community. I am confident that by working together we can accomplish great things for our students and continue the proud tradition of Cavalier excellence,” he said.
Henry County Public Schools said Seiy’s appointment reflects the division’s commitment to academic excellence, educator support and student success.
