The Henry County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 1106 Joppa Road, Ridgeway, and arrested two men living on the property.
Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis said in a release that one of the men arrested lived in the mobile home and another lived in a camper that was on the property. Both were taken into custody without incident.
During the search of the property, authorities seized suspected Fentanyl and suspected Methamphetamine. Additional evidence consistent with the distribution of narcotics was located, Davis alleged in the release. Seventeen illegally possessed firearms and a large amount of ammunition also were seized at the locations.
Joshua Chad Cox, 43, Joppa Road, Ridgeway, was charged with possession of Schedule I or II drugs (Methamphetamine), possession of a firearm while in possession of Scheduled I or II drug, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a saw-off shotgun, maintaining a fortified drug house and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Cox is currently held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center under no bond.
Warren Doty Clark, 70, Joppa Road, Ridgeway, also was arrested, charged with possession of Scheduled I or II drugs (Fentanyl) and possession of a firearm while in possession of Schedule I or II drugs.
Clark is currently being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center on a $5,000 secure bond.
The investigation is ongoing, Davis said, and added that additional charges are anticipated.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards of up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
Davis and his office thanked the Danville Police Department for their assistance and the use of their armored vehicle to ensure the safety of our deputies during this operation.
