Martinsville City Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Renz was selected Officer of the Quarter after being nominated by his fellow co-workers. His peers highlighted his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to the department. He is known for consistently going above and beyond, stepping in to help without hesitation, and showing a selfless commitment to the well-being of others. Renz is the kind of officer who leads by example, and we are proud to honor him for his outstanding service.

The local businesses and organizations generously supported and contributed to the recognition program include Food Lion, Chop Stix, Livy’s Ice Cream Shop, Jarrett Marketing, Hollywood Cinema, and McDonald’s
