Regional academy recognizes graduates, award winners

Graduates of the Piedmont Regional Criminal Justice Training Academy’s Entry Level Jail, Courtroom Security and Civil Process Officer School Session No. 44 were recognized during a graduation ceremony held May 6 at the New College Institute in Martinsville.

Graduates included Alyssa Crider, Kayla Fain, Dylan Massey, Christopher Clark, Matthew Howell, Malcolm Anderson, Tyler Green, Brian Jarvis, Peyton Cambron, Austin Nolen and David Lopez Sanchez.

Several graduates also received special honors during the ceremony.

  • Peyton Cambron earned first place in firearms.

  • Christopher Clark received second place in firearms, second place in Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), Academic Leader honors and the President’s Award.

  • Alyssa Crider was recognized as the top female in physical training.

  • Malcolm Anderson earned top male physical training honors.

  • Kayla Fain received the Director’s Award.
