Martinsville students win awards, accolades

Patrick Henry Elementary School:

Rebecca Vernon, Liz Lynch and Monica Mitchell earned awards from the Southside Virginia Regional Technology Consortium (SVRTC). This is an annual event that recognizes the accomplishments for technology in instruction and instructional technology support. Technology Teacher – Rebecca Vernon; Instructional Support Award – Liz Lynch; Technology Support – Monica Mitchell.

 

 

Martinsville High School:

 

MHS HOSA Chapter participated in the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, VA. Winning students are eligible for HOSA’s International Conference held in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Second Place Creative Problem Solving – Paris Fulp, Anessia Reynolds, Tyasia Wright.

 

Third Place: Creative Problem Solving – Andre Harrison, Onyi Ugbomah-Otunuya, Alfonso Lara Alvardo

 

Fifth Place: Prepared Speaking – Andre Harrison
