
A Martinsville man has been charged with malicious wounding following a stabbing early Friday in the 100 block of Park Street.
Officers with the Martinsville Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at approximately 12:14 a.m. Friday, June 26.
When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from a single stab wound. The victim was taken to Sovah Health-Martinsville before being transferred to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Police said the victim was in stable condition.
During the investigation, officers identified Kevin Karl Senn, 39, of 113 Park St., Martinsville, as the suspect. According to police, Senn was located by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody.
Senn has been charged with malicious wounding and is being held without bond at the Martinsville City Jail.
