James Edward Turner, 74, of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born September 18, 1946, in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Darrell and Meda Scott Turner. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a jack of all trades.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin.
Mr. Turner is survived by daughters, Amanda Carpenter (Michael), Stephanie Rodgers (Warren), Shannon Henderson (Tyler) and Tina Turner Rager; sons, Roger Turner (Ashley), and Lynn Turner (Becky); sister, Bonnie Hudson; brothers Danny (Barbara), Tommy (Irene), Curtis (Sharon), and Charles (Linda); twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and former spouse and caregiver Judy Turner.
