The Martinsville Police Department, along with Jarrett Marketing LLC, congratulated Officer Justin Havens for being named Officer of the Quarter, an award that is voted on by senior members of the department and awarded to an officer who has exhibited hard work and dedication to the department and the community it serves.

Havens came to the police department a little over a year ago. Before that, he was employed at the Martinsville-Henry County Communications Center as a 911 Dispatcher for two years and then served as a Firefighter/EMT with the Martinsville Fire & EMS Department for four years.

Havens is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and also serves as a Medic on the department’s SWAT Team.

Chopstix Martinsville-Va, McDonald’s (Commonwealth Blvd.), Food Lion (Stanleytown), and Hollywood Cinema provided free meals and/or movie passes.
