Martinsville Police Officer Christina Frick was selected Officer of the Quarter, a distinction voted on by senior members of the department and awarded to an officer who has exhibited hard work and dedication to the department and the community they serve.

Frick has been with the police department for about a year. Before that, she was employed with the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office as a 911 dispatcher, for five years and as a corrections officer for four years. She also previously worked for Franklin County Public Safety as a Firefighter/EMT for approximately two years.

Frick is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and is a General Instructor at the Piedmont Regional Criminal Justice Academy, where she also teaches Emergency Vehicle Operations. In addition to serving her community as a police officer, she also volunteers as an EMT with a local rescue squad.

Chopstix Martinsville-Va, McDonald’s (Commonwealth Blvd.), Food Lion (Stanleytown), Livy’s ice cream shop and Hollywood Cinema, along with Jarrett Marketing LLC, sponsor the award.
