Henry County Public Schools appointed Mrs. Kimberly Foley as Director of Elementary Education and Federal Supports, effective July.
Mrs. Foley brings extensive experience in school leadership and a deep understanding of the systems that support effective instruction and student success. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening teaching and learning, supporting educators, and ensuring that structures are in place to meet the diverse needs of students.
Before joining HCPS in 2023 as Principal of G.W. Carver Elementary School, Mrs. Foley served in a variety of roles—including teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal—across Maryland and North Carolina. Her breadth of experience provides a strong foundation for leading division-wide efforts in elementary education and federal programming. In this role, Mrs. Foley will support the ongoing alignment of curriculum, instruction, and intervention practices while working closely with school leaders to enhance student outcomes. Her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that resources, supports, and systems are effectively coordinated to meet the needs of all learners.
Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Lisa Millner said, “Mrs. Foley brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to her work, along with a strong understanding of both instruction and leadership. Her ability to connect systems, people, and priorities will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen our elementary programs and supports across the division.”
Mrs. Foley said, “It is an honor and a privilege to be named the Director of Elementary Education and Federal Supports for Henry County Public Schools. I am grateful for the division’s trust and confidence and excited to transition into this role in service of our students and educators.”
