Members of the Dan River Basin Association will return on May 2 to a section of the Banister River for the first time since 2016. The First Saturday Outing is a 6.2-mile float from King’s Bridge Landing to Terry’s Bridge. Halifax Town Manager Carl Espy is coordinating the event.
