Firearms, ammunition among items seized in search

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, SWAT Team Executed a narcotics related search warrant on Sunday, October 13, at 310 Clyde Prillaman St. Fieldale, VA. Investigators seized suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, black tar heroin, fentanyl, 4 firearms, unknown pills, pill press, digital scales, packaging materials, and ammunition. Of the 4 firearms seized, one of them was previously reported as stolen from Patrick County. The items will be sent to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science for analysis.

Kayla Mae Bowman, 32, 310 Clyde Prillaman St., Fieldale, was located within the home and arrested. She is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance – 3rd or subsequent offense, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance – 3rd or subsequent offense, possession of a firearm while is possession of a schedule I or II drug, possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon and possession of ammunition by a previously convicted felon.

This investigation is ongoing, anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632- 7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards of up to $2,500 for information related to a crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
