U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Salem, visited the Speedway Service Center in Martinsville on Sept. 8 to present a congressional resolution to honor former Martinsville Sheriff Steve Draper, who recently died. He also affixed a sticker in his honor to the Martinsville Missile.
During his visit, Griffith met with members of the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office and offered his condolences on Draper’s passing.
The Martinsville Missile cars are displayed at the Speedway Service Center in Martinsville.
