Dorothy Catron Dillon, 82, of Bassett, died Wednesday Marcy 9, 2022 at the Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She was born in Smyth County on September 3, 1939 to the late Worley Armstrong and the late Nora Bentley Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by first husband, Joseph Catron, her second husband, George Dillon and eleven brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Della Belton, Mike Catron (Janice), Wanda Mize and David Catron (Sarah); six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Couthard (Gerald); brother, James Armstrong and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Henry Memorial Park with Dr. Chris Atkinson officiating.
