Protesters gather outside the Martinsville Municipal Building on Feb. 26, to oppose Rep. Morgan Griffith’s stances on several policy matters. The event coincided with a regular planned visit from Griffith’s staff. The demonstration, organized by the Martinsville-Henry County Democratic Committee, highlighted concerns about Elon Musk’s involvement in the government, DOGE, Medicaid cuts, veterans’ benefits, cuts to the Department of Education, and other policy issues.
