Daniel Webster Rudy, 79, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, December 28, 2020, at his home. He was born September 3, 1941, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Elmer and Doris Pfeiffer Rudy. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a SP5 in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He received his diploma at Gilman School, and received his Business Engineering Degree at University of Maryland. Mr. Rudy was a Junior National Badminton Champion.
Mr. Rudy is survived by his wife, Betty Hill Rudy; daughter, Ann R. Hundley (Michael), of Hickory, North Carolina; son, David Wayne Rudy, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Elizabeth R. Hundley and Brandon M. Hundley.
