More than $900 was raised for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Patrick County during Cup of Ambition Day, a community fundraiser held Sept. 25 by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce and Stagecoach Coffee.
The event encouraged residents to “Give Like Dolly” through coffee purchases, cash donations and online contributions to support the program, which provides free books to participating children each month.
For more information about the Imagination Library program or how to contribute, contact the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce at 276-694-6012, email [email protected] or visit www.patrickchamber.com.
