Bikers for Babies, to benefit the Pregnancy Care Center of Martinsville-Henry County, begins at the Broad Street Parking Lot in Uptown Martinsville and proceeds to Snow Creek, then towards Sontag and south on U.S. 220 back to Collinsville to conclude at the Pregnancy Care Center on Fairy Street Extension. Food will be served. All bikers are welcome. Entry fee of $10 for bikes or $15 with a passenger. All riders are entered into drawing for door prizes but must be present to win. Miles in Martinsville Summer Social: open to all runners from around the region. Will take place at the Pavilion at the Smith River Sports Complex from 5-8 p.m. Admission is $7.99 per person and dinner will be catered by Hugo’s (burgers, hotdogs, beans, slaw, chips, tea, and water). Mountain Valley Brewing will be providing a beer garden with craft beer as well.
