Christmas Cheer of Martinsville and Henry County has reached about 40 percent of its $45,000 donation goal, according to a list of donations provided by Ralph Lawson, who coordinates the event every year with his wife, Kathy Lawson.
The drive helps to provide food and toys to those in need during the holiday season. The amount given as of Dec. 8, is $18,776.53.
