Cathy Barker Morrison, 68, of Axton, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at SOVAH Health of Danville. She was born August 16, 1953, in Martinsville, Virginia. She loved flowers and her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grover W. Barker; mother, Eunice Kennett Barker; and sister Linda Barker Shivley. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her devoted husband Jessie (Link) Morrison, daughter Angela Willis; son, Jessie (Brian) Morrison; sisters, Sharon Fulcher (Late Bruce Fulcher) and Karon Flippin (Thomas); half brother Keith Odberg; her loving grandson, Timothy Willis and numerous nieces and nephews.
With all the COVID restrictions in place a visitation will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
