The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying two men allegedly involved in an armed robbery at the U.S. Cellular store.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Sept. 23, 2019 at the store, located at 820 Commonwealth Blvd. in Martinsville.

The victim, who was cleaning the store at the time of the incident, alleged that two unknown black men wearing masks and gloves forced their way in the front door of the business and held her at gunpoint.

While one of the men allegedly held the victim at gunpoint the other man went to the rear of the store. The men were in the store approximately two minutes and wore all black clothing, according to a release.

After taking a total of four iPhones, an iPad and the victim’s cell phone, the men allegedly fled the store and left the area in a rust colored compact car.

Anyone with information about the identity and/or whereabouts of the individuals in question is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at (276) 638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
