Henry County Public Schools is pleased to announce that Mrs. Whitney Calloway will serve as Assistant Principal of Meadow View Elementary School beginning in July 2026.
Mrs. Calloway brings a strong background in elementary education and instructional leadership, along with a clear commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
Her experience supporting literacy development and classroom instruction positions her well to contribute to the continued growth and success of Meadow View Elementary. She began her career as an elementary teacher in North Carolina before joining Henry County Public Schools as an English Learner tutor at Collinsville Primary School.
In 2020, she returned to HCPS as a classroom teacher at Meadow View Elementary, and in 2022, she was named Reading Specialist, where she has played a key role in strengthening literacy instruction and supporting student achievement. Mrs. Calloway is a thoughtful, student-centered leader who values the relationships that are foundational to a strong school community. Her enthusiasm for serving the Meadow View community is evident, and she is well prepared to support students, staff, and families while building on the positive momentum already in place.

Mrs. Calloway shared her thoughts on this next chapter, said, “I am truly honored and excited to serve as assistant principal at Meadow View Elementary and to continue working alongside such a dedicated staff. I deeply value our school community, and I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the care and commitment poured into our students each day. With strong momentum already in place, I am confident we will accomplish wonderful things together. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families as we work to ensure everyone has a place to belong, grow, and succeed at Meadow View!”
