Dale Dillon Mills, 83, of Spencer, VA passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born on May 7, 1939, in Roanoke, VA to the late Robert Dillon and Clara Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Harlowe.
She worked at E. I. DuPont and later worked at Hardee’s as general manager for eighteen years. Dale had a special love for animals, especially for her dogs and cat, Stretch.
Dale is survived by her husband of forty years, Michael Mills of the home; son, Robert E. Torrey of Spencer, VA; daughter, Margaret Tench; brother, R. D. Dillon (Mary) of Dublin, VA; granddaughters, Ashley Boitnott (Zach) and Bella Reed (Holden); and great-granddaughter, Lillian Boitnott. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Deke officiating.
