With 27 years of dedicated law enforcement service across the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Danville Sheriff’s Office, Shively has served in multiple roles, including the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations, Community Engagement, and the School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit.
Currently assigned as the SRO at Laurel Park Middle School, Shively goes above and beyond in building positive relationships with students and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Whether assisting children in inclement weather, fostering a space where students feel valued, or effectively maintaining school security, Deputy Shively is truly a rock star to the students, staff, and community.
