After operating his business out of his home and shared buildings for many years, Richard Sarver opened a new location for operations and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 8.
Sarver’s business has operated since 1997 and has gone through different phases and locations since then before deciding it was time to build a location that allowed the business the opportunity to grow. Despite setbacks and difficulties along the way, the new location is now operational.
“We started in 1997 out of my home and then, a few years back, we bought the building next door, and we leased the front out to Lincare and the back we used for our shop. Then we decided to build this a couple of years ago and it took us about a year and a half to build,” Sarver said.
Sarver hopes that the new location will help the location to gain a larger client base and continue to grow, while continuing the business model he has been using.
“The site line is so much better. As far as expanding, we’re just going to try to keep doing what we’re doing and grow by word of mouth,” he said.
Throughout its time of operation, Sarver’s Cleaning Services has seen success, and Sarver is thankful for the community support.
“I appreciate all the business we’ve had over the years. We service over 200 clients, and we have over 80 employees that work in the community. We just appreciate everybody for that,” he said.
Sarver Cleaning Services offers residential, commercial, industrial, and medical cleaning services to Southwest and Central Virginia, as well as North Carolina. Services can be arranged on a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, and one time basis. The business operates 24/7, offering clients the chance to receive services whenever works best for their schedules.
