The Col. George Waller Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution held their spring meeting on Saturday March 23rd at the Martinsville-Henry County Heritage Center Museum. Andy Doss was the featured speaker.
We had several awards presented including an award for the chapter for Outstanding Patriotism Outreach. Andy Doss was also given the Liberty medal for his work in sponsoring new chapter members. Jarred Marlowe was given the Virginia Society Medal for his work as chapter president.
The meeting also included a new member being inducted into the chapter, Thomas E. “Gene” Fain.
