Randolph Gordon Cox, 57, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away April 19, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born August 25, 1964, in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Waitman Cox and Frances Cox Waller.
Randy was a professional truck driver and retired from Warren Trucking. He enjoyed spending his time with his family traveling, camping and working on things. He was known as a “Jack of all Trades.” He was a loving husband, brother, father and papa. Papa was his favorite title.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Brenda Jamison Cox; daughters, Jessica Cox (Dwayne Hancock), and Jodi Hasty (Thor); son, Randy Lee Hawks; sister, Karen Harrell (John); brother, Andy Cox; mother-in-law, Frances Jamison; niece, Tyler Harrell; and grandchildren, Lilliana Hasty, Noah Alan Shuff, Jasmine Hawks, Chloe Hawks, and Zaiden Hawks; and Bubba Jay, his loving dog.
A Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Snow Creek.
