MARTINSVILLE, VA – A male was shot in Martinsville on Monday night, Police Chief Rob Fincher confirmed to BTW21 News.
A police officer in the area of Fayette Street told a 9-1-1 dispatcher that he had heard about 6 shots nearby.
Minutes later, the 9-1-1 center received a disconnected call from around the area of Spencer Street and dispatched officers to the area at 6:42 p.m.
Another 9-1-1 call advised that a male had been shot around that area.
