Staff members at Campbell Court Elementary School reported receiving a call from the spouse of an employee on September 21, around 10:38 p.m.
The school staff were concerned about the call, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. As a safety precaution, students and teachers acted according to their safety plan and enacted a lockdown. Authorities and school officials worked together to ensure students and staff were safe.
Through the course of the investigation, authorities alleged that Brock Addison Stanley, 34, of 89 Meadowgreen Drive, Bassett, had called into the school.
He was subsequently charged with three misdemeanor counts of violation of a protective order and is currently held in the Henry County Jail without bond.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crimes. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
