Virginia State Police Trooper R.C. Amos is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle, which resulted in a fatality.
The crash occurred on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:04 p.m. on U.S. 220, at its intersection with Virginia 670 in Henry County.
A 2016 Harley Davidson was traveling south on U.S. 220, when it ran off the right side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, and overturned.
The operator was identified as Terry Ray Furr, 67, of Bassett, Va. Furr was wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
