Community health workers in Martinsville delivered ‘thank you’ bags to key partners to observe National Community Health Workers (CHW) Appreciation Week. While the week was designed to celebrate them, this is a perfect example of the kind of people that CHWs are – always putting others first, according to the West Piedmont Health District.
