
Dr. Elizabeth Motley will assume the role of Principal of Campbell Court Elementary School beginning in February, according to a release from Henry County Public Schools.
Motley brings a well-established record of leadership in elementary education, grounded in literacy and instructional excellence, and her experience will be key in supporting continued growth across the division.
Throughout her career, Dr. Motley has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting students and families, grounded in a deep love for reading and literacy. Her passion for learning, combined with her ability to build trusting relationships and connect families with meaningful resources, has made her a respected leader within the division and the community.
In her new role, Dr. Motley will focus on strengthening early learning practices, supporting high-quality instruction, and fostering a nurturing school environment where students will continue to grow academically and socially. Her leadership will emphasize strong foundations in literacy, collaboration with families, and thoughtful supports that help every child thrive in school and beyond.
Schools Superintendent Dr. Blake-Lewis shared her confidence in Dr. Motley’s leadership.
“Dr. Motley brings a strong record of success as an elementary school leader and a deep understanding of curriculum and effective instructional practices. I am confident in her leadership and excited about the great things ahead for our school community.”
Motley said, “I am incredibly grateful and truly excited for the opportunity to serve as principal of Campbell Court Elementary and to work alongside such a dedicated group of educators. Having worked with many members of this staff in different capacities over the years, I know the passion and commitment they bring to our students and school community.
“There is strong momentum already in place, and while we have important work ahead to ensure continued academic growth, I am confident that together we will finish the year strong. My commitment is to support, value, and partner with our students, staff, and families as we work collaboratively to ensure Campbell Court remains a school where every student is empowered for success,” she added.
