HENRY COUNTY, VA – A man barricaded himself inside a home and threaten to kill deputies with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office who were responding to a call of domestic assault.
On Saturday afternoon when deputies approached the home at 115 Lake Tree Drive, Richard Perry Swisher, 58, slammed the door shut.
When deputies tried to go inside, Swisher pulled out a machete and made threats to kill the deputies, according to the sheriff’s office.
