James Wiley “J.W.” Meeks, 63, of Fieldale, Virginia passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born January 9, 1959, in Franklin County, Virginia to the late James Troy Meeks and Allie Maye Ferguson Meeks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Carlene Wright, Darlene Bowers, Brenda Richards, and Linda Richards.
James enjoyed being outdoors and loved spending time with family and friends.
James is survived by his nieces, Sheila Martin (Lonnie), Samantha Bowers, Tammy Stoneman (H.B.), Rebecca Richards, Jennifer Martin; and nephews, Tommy Lee Bowers, Jr., and J.D Hutchens; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
