James Donald “Donnie” Nelson, 68, of Fieldale, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was born January 15, 1952, in Martinsville, Virginia to Julia Irene Matherly Nelson and the late John Donald Nelson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Carol Nelson Lopez (Sebastian); brothers, Johnny Nelson (Birgit), Tommy Nelson (Terri), Cecil Nelson (Rebecca), Fred Nelson (Judy), and Ricky Nelson (Marti); and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 2:00 P. M. at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Todd Barnes officiating.
