Henry County Sheriff’s Investigator Everette Harper was selected Deputy of the Month. He was recognized by the sheriff’s office in partnership with Jarrett Marketing LLC, Livy’s Ice Cream, Food Lion in Stanleytown, Hollywood Cinema, and McDonald’s in Martinsville.
Harper has dedicated 25 years to law enforcement, with the past 13 years at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of specialized roles, including K-9 Handler, Special Investigations, Patrol Deputy, member of the Dive Team, and the former Drug Interdiction Team. He now serves as the Senior Criminal Investigator in our Criminal Investigations Division.
Harper is instrumental in many Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) cases and possesses a remarkable ability to communicate effectively with anyone he encounters. His strong leadership skills and investigative instincts often place him at the center of our most complex and high-profile cases.
